The Misfit of Demon King Academy season 2 episode 7 was originally meant to premiere on Saturday, February 18; however, the anime has since been delayed. Now it is rescheduled and will be released on Saturday, August 19.
Episode 6 Recap
Anos and the others go further into a place called Delsgade. Anos uses his magic to hide them from Avos’s followers led by Demera. He sees Revest and Menou still wearing a special symbol and reveals himself to them. They share information about the problems Avos has caused and discuss how to stop her.
Anos tells them he wants to find out where the Spirit King, NousGalia, and Avos are. He also talks about his plan to use powerful time magic called Revalon. He wants to go back 2000 years to find out what happened to Leno, Shin, and how Misa came to be. But Revalon is large, so they need to distract another demon because it can’t be hidden with Najira’s magic.
Revest volunteers and asks Anos to use his strongest magic attack on him, even though it will hurt. The plan succeeds, and Anos promises to help Revest and his friends.
The group reaches a place called Gairadite, 2000 years in the past. Anos explains they can’t change anything because the Time Gods will undo any changes. They can only watch. To avoid alerting the gods, Lay uses his magic to hide Anos’s presence.
They decide to go to Alharten by following a rumor about throwing a special candy into a lake. They arrive just in time to see a celebration for a hero named Kanon from 2000 years ago. Eleonore and Zeshia buy candy from a stall.
They see Leno urging Shin to buy candy. Leno gets upset when it’s sold out and blames Shin. Zeshia gives Leno some of her candy, and Leno thanks her with cookies. Leno asks if they’re no longer fighting, and Leno says they’re good friends.
Anos asks Leno if she remembers anything after seeing Shin, who might be the masked man she’s been searching for. She’s not sure but feels something bad is going to happen.
Anos and the group arrive in Alaharten after Leno and Shin. They see them being attacked by a creature named Divine Beast Gwen. Anos teaches Sasha a spell to protect from these creatures, and Shin and Leno notice.
Anos disguises himself as a child, comes out of hiding, and says he’s Anoshu Polticoal. He claims the rest are traveling entertainers. They fool Leno with their performance, and she asks Shin for his opinion. Shin seems to know something but plays along.
Anos asks Leno if she knows anything about Lena. She denies it at first but then tells Anos that Lena is the Love Fairy Fran. She warns Anos not to reveal Lena’s true identity since she wanders looking for memories and will disappear if someone tells her who she is.
Suddenly, another creature attacks. Lay stops it but can’t draw her sword due to Revalon’s rules. Anos asks Shin to give Lay the sword, Sigshesta. Shin hesitates because only he and Anos can use it, but Anos reassures him. Lay easily defeats the creature with the sword. Impressed, Shin lends the sword, Sigshesta, to Lay.
