A son was born to Ertugrul Ghazi in 1258. His parents named him Usman. The same Osman who founded the Ottoman Empire. This is the same year in which the Mongols led by Halaku Khan destroyed the Dar al-Kumat Baghdad of the Abbasid Caliphate. Big events happened. Muslims saw great hardships. When the Muslim Ummah had reached the extremes of weakness, it gained a double rise from there and was ready to rise to the highest heights of honor and success. By the wisdom of God, it happens as He wills, His knowledge continues to be enforced.
He was a warrior, brave, it is said that he fought so many battles that his golden complexion turned into a swarf, his black eyes grew brighter, he turned himself into such a head and shoulders that onlookers called him black. Laga, he was Kara Osman, he remained a nightmare for six hundred years on the enemy. Mercy shone from his eyes, he used to put his share in the mouth of the needy. The Ottomans are coming, may Allah have mercy on this great Mujahid and instill the same faith and courage in our hearts, Ameen. The life of Osman Ghazi, the founder of the Ottoman Empire, consisted of Jihad and Da’wah. If you have to live, then for the sake of Islam and if you have to die, then also for the sake of Islam.
